An Introduction to the GREEN SPOT
The Green Spot is the Sustainability Resource Center of Pacific Grove. It is located on the
corner of Pine and Forest Ave., and is now officially open for all to visit.
At the Green Spot, Sustainable PG will showcase a demonstration garden, environmentally friendly
products found in Pacific Grove, and exhibits offering interactive approaches to green building
products, renewable energy, nontoxic household waste, recycling, rain water catchment and composting.
With help from SPG volunteers we have really made some big changes at the site across the street
from the PG Police station. Stop by to see the bare root trees we have planted
(apple, pear, cherry, apricot, blueberry), Artichokes, cover crop, onions, nasturtium, and more...
( at the corner of Forest and Pine. )
